Going to head over right now. Looks like Buxton and Rosario are in the lineup with BUX at DH. Looking forward to seeing Rosario. Just missed him when me and another poster here went to check him and Sano out in Beloit. I'll see if I can get any videos but my phone is pretty messed up right now. We'll see!

First things first, the website had the wrong time listed for the game. I ended up only staying for the first 6 innings. Will write some short notes in a bit. Will try to add them film I was able to record. Saw Buxton, Rosario, and Zach Jones for the twins

Buxton - He was a DH tonight so I didn't get to see him in the field, and perhaps not playing in the field affected his bat, but he seemed overmatched tonight. Probably the most athletic players out there, but he was playing with older players and will need the first few games to adjust to the better pitching. His biggest problem was just watching too many good pitches go by. I figure that will change when he gains more confidence against the increased competition.

His night ended 1-5 with a double and 4 strike outs. His first plate appearance he hit a chopper over the 3rd baseman. He hustled and made it a double. He was there like it was nothing. 1 of the strikeouts was just ugly as can be. Watched 3 belt high balls, and on his way back to the dugout.

Rosario - I have always been a huge fan of Rosario. There was a point in time where I told my buddy I thought he was a more valuable prospect than Sano, mainly because of the position he played. I have backed off those expectations a bit, but I really do love this prospect. Hit 2-5 with 3 rbi's, 2 strikeouts and a stolen base.

His first hit was a blooper, and he subsequently stole 2nd base. His 2nd hit was a line drive over the shortstop. Only had 1 ball hit in his direction, but he made a nice backhanded grab and throw to first for the out. He will stick at 2nd base, no doubt in my mind. Just looked very natural over there. I could see him as a .290-.310 avg with 8-15 homers in the big leagues. Lower ceiling but a higher floor for him.

Zach Jones - Pitched 1 inning, gave up 1 hit, 1 run, 0 earned runs, and 3 strikeouts. The first batter he faced got the hit. Ball park was huge. 430 to center. 360 down the leftfield line. The batter probably hit the ball to the deepest part of the park, and got a stand up triple. Ball knocked off the catchers glove for a passed ball to score the runner. Next 3 batters he struck out. He obviously has good stuff. He was able to strike batters out... However, his curveball needs significant work. Just in the dirt all inning. Not only that but he tips his pitches in his delivery really bad. Every time it was a curveball, it was beyond noticeable because of the over exaggeration in the delivery. He needs some work. Good relief prospect overall though.
