I want to get AWAY from the Internet and cell phones, not go for more of the same.

Good to know. Most people need the creature comforts of home to truly settle in to their new existence. I have a package in mind for you - it involves mining for bulclux in a colony of extraterrestrial cowboys and android prostitutes. A few minor alterations to your lower physical exterior will be necessary - but it definitely worth it as it is a trip of a lifetime.

I don't have a picture of it but in front of the cemetery where my father-in-law is buried there is a big sign that says, "Space Available".

 

It struck me as being rather....awkward (and rather amusing in a black humor sort of way).

 

Terrible luck, bro. Opportunity like that doesn't come around every day.

The ol' "pitchout with nobody covering" trick works even less often than the ol' hidden ball trick, IMO.

 

Edit: I do give them credit for executing it flawlessly, though. I'm trying not to be such a negative nancy.

I went to a Reno Aces game the other night. The opponent was the Salt Lake Bees. Every time the visiting team did something good, the guy behind me yelled "Boo! Bees! Boo! Bees!".

omg ... I hope not ... how many smelly socks does he have left to gift?

Although I read his posts after the fact on Sunday - It seems like dogs in his neck of the woods get diamond rings, Maseratis and have catered meals from high end restaurants. I never thought I would regret being a human. My regret begins now.

Yeah, they GET those things. But all they really want is an old, used, smelly sock to chew on, play tug o' war with, and, well, whatever dogs do with smelly socks.
