Things to Think About:

1. Think about the Tigers... Tigers come from many places... India, Bangladesh, Laos, Vietnam Sumatra and Siberia among many places in Asia. In the United States they are found in Baton Rouge, Clemson South Carolina, Auburn Alabama, Princeton New Jersey, Columbia Missouri, Memphis, Cincinnati and Detroit. Animal Researchers have discovered that the Siberian Tiger is stronger and faster than Prince Fielder.

2. Think about the Tigers... They are heading for a 1st place finish in the A.L. Central. They have a strong rotation and the finest hitter in the game.

3. Think about the Twins... They are heading for a 4th place finish in the A.L. Central. If they continue to play like they have... I think they can finish 4th.

4. Think about Mike Pelfrey... I think he will pitch very carefully tonight.

5. Think about Deer Crossing signs... Do the Deer actually know to cross where the sign is? Maybe the Deer picture helps them know where to cross since they can't read... What about Badgers and Skunk? Are Badgers and Skunks wondering how many of us have to die before we get a sign.

Think about Plouffe. How bad of a year is it when Herrmann is hitting ahead of you in the lineup... Sad year for Mr. Plouffe. On the upside, he is still getting paid to play baseball.

I don't know about stronger; ever watch Prince turn on a pitch? And as for faster, you might as well have mentioned the Siberian Tree Sloth.

Rick Porcello is the #5 starter for the Tigers. He would be the ace of the Twins staff.

If that doesn't show you just how far ahead the Tigers are in talent than us, nothing will.

Most teams #5 would be our ace right now, no joke.

Put another way, it's the second straight season where none of our starters makes the Tigers' rotation. That was where Ryan lost me with the whole "meaningful games" thing...

Bonus rotation bummer: In 2012 Drew Smyly made only 18 starts, threw fewer than 100 innings, out-WARed all non-Diamond Twins starters combined... and didn't make their 2013 rotation.

You needed to put "7." In front of yours but... since Mr. Brooks didnt put a "6." In front of his...the numbering system got off track.

Didn't even know he was blond.

LEN3 wrote short article about that, if memory serves. Some sort of nasty business involving carpet and drapes. One more reason 'Twins beat writer' continues to somehow elude my list of dream jobs.

Yeah, the double entendre of that job title would be tough to put up with, alone.

Children will make you dizzy.

Yes, but their screams of "Stop!" and their pricelessly cute stumbling pratfalls when you put them down after the Helicopter Spin is what parenting is all about...

Dammit, should have read the thread first before posting. Meaningful games was already in play.

Think about Chris Herrmann. How awful is your lineup when Herrmann is your #6 hitter?

Somewhat more awful than it is when the absence of your best hitter puts Herrman in the 2 spot?
