Why Not do a game thread... The game is on tonight.

 

I could have put this in the minor league forum but there is more traffic in this forum and it's the normal home of the game thread.

 

Many of us will be watching Sano and Rosario and the others.

 

Pedro Hernandez starting for the Rock Cats. We've seen Hernandez before... Too Bad we couldn't watch Meyer or May instead.

 

Regardless... I'll be watching and enjoying.

Listening online to radio 1410, must be in CT. Just heard the squirrely sound in the background when a batter struck out - ayup, must be minor league ball.

 

Anybody happen to know of a video feed through teh interwebs?

Sounds like they are going to talk right through this whole game like they did for the last minor league game they aired.

 

Was it this bad the last game? I don't think there's been more than a total of 30 seconds of dead air since I started watching.

worse last time...last game they often had the game in like half screen and the other half screen the commenters were being shown while yapping

With Cedar Rapids we got a split screen with the Fox Sports crew talking over it. Occasional full screen with PBP that sounded like it was coming over a phone line.

Assuming I'm getting the same audio feed through their 1410 radio, I could stand the wall of words if they didn't keep repeating the small amount of information they have on hand. I've only been listening off-and-on but heard twice about one of the players being from Brooklyn Park and being a good local MN athlete.

P.S. I don't listen to that garbage, but my wife keeps it on in the kitchen.
