Okay ... here's a question ... why is Dick Bremer on the Sox broadcast? Does that mean Hawk is on the MN broadcast with Bert?

Wait ... Bert is on the 'local' broadcast, too ... um ... I'm confused. Not that I don't mind not hearing Hawk.

They are doing a special dual broadcast combo thing... I don't like White Socks getting mixed up with my Twins.

This is confusing me as well.

Ed: I hold in my hand this hermetically sealed envelope, which has been stored in a safe at Funk and Wagnall's headquarters in Burbank.

Carnac: (takes envelope) I must have complete silence. (holds envelope to corner of huge headgear)

//sound of Ed chuckling//

Carnac: "Shoo-be-do-be-doo."

Ed: "Shoo-be-do-be-doo."

Carnac: after exchanging grins with Ed and audience: "May a crazed Russian weighlifter clean and jerk your sister."

Ed: loud guffaws...pause...(quietly) "shoo-be-do-be-doo."

Carnac: "What do you look for when tracking a shoo-be-do-be."

Carnac: Carnac.

Ed: What? Uh, I'm Ed. *You're* Carnac.

Carnac: No, o rotund one, that's the answer to what it says on the card inside this envelope. "Carnac".

Ed: My apologies, insightful one. I misunderstood.

Carnac: May the fleas that infest Ryan Doumit's catcher's mitt find a home in your athletic supporter.

Ed: Hey-yo! And now, the contents of that envelope?

Carnac: "What do you call the special skill needed to commit grand theft auto?"

Anything we can help with? Tough questions? Explanations? That sorta thing.

Um, okay ... I'll throw this out there but it may or may not make sense ...

I'm bowing first violin parts to Verdi's 'Macbeth.' We are doing this in a concert-opera format this Fall.

Those Carnac routines are golden, especially when the game is less than interesting.

Which is why I'm sitting here in front of my computer listening to game on the TV instead of sitting at the dining room table trying to do work watching the game itself.

Pretty sure you're talking about the TD thread posters and not the guys on the field at the Cell. Am I right?

lol, well ... yeah, both ... the ones in here are more interesting ... at the moment

Maybe you should come up with a score for "Carnac, the Opera"?

Lots of Violinists think Marcato but think Legato!!! And make sure you are able to drown out the bassoon.

Carnac: Oo, RISP.

Ed: RISP? Sounds a blend of "limp wrist". I'm not sure I want to pursue that angle.

Carnac: No. Oo RISP. The two together.

Ed: Oo RISP. Like, the baseball statistic?

Carnac: Over-rated in that context, Ye Who Strikes Out At Bat And At Singles Bars.

Ed: Hey yo! That stings a little.

Carnac: May the bees of a thousand fig trees sting the fleas infesting your cheese.

Ed: Hey, that rhymes! So, o wise one, what's in the envelope?

Carnac: "What do you get when you take the 'C' out of 'Coco Crisp'?"

Ed: I don't get it.

Carnac: They can't all be good.
