How ya Been Glorm?

Now you Type -- I've Been Thirsty... I am Thirsty and I will Be Thirsty!!!

The irony here is that I rarely drink alcohol, and when I do drink it's almost always vodka.

If I could build a stadium... First off... I'd love to... But If I could build a stadium...

1. The very back of the stadium would be exactly 500 feet from plate across the whole outfield. That way... Any ball that makes it out of the entire stadium would be over 500 feet for sure.

2. The RF bleachers would be a splash zone. Any Home Team Home run would shoot a ton of water into the Right Field Bleachers soaking everyone. Those who buy a ticket for RF would understand that getting wet is entirely possible.

3. I would have Corners that jut out along the lines making a really Short porch around the Foul Poles... A out 70 feet of maybe 6 seats wide around the foul poles making it like 280 feet from home plate down the line on both sides... It would quickly go to 350 or on the other side.

4. Outfield Fences would be 7 feet high... More ground rule doubles... But more Home Run Thefts and the occasional player flipping into the stands.

Sounds like fun for those early April and November World Series games.

You should be careful to keep your day job my friend. Your #1 would be very limiting and your #2 would result in lots of slip and fall litigation (and soggy hot dogs and peanuts). I like your #4, so long as those walls are thickly padded, especially at the top.

Yes, with all that water freezing into ice, the slip and fall lawyers would vote Brian into their hall of fame.

Dewey, Cheatum, and Howe, esq. Your "slip and fall" specialists for the upper midwest.

There are all kinds of arguments to support of getting rid of the DH and going back to the NL rule book, but it only takes one look at both pitchers leading off an inning and those have no validity. It's like changing the rule book to include only two outs every third inning.

Are those actual birds chirping?
Annoying, no? It sometimes interferes with my ability to hear individual conversations among the fans.

Which will be greater: the number of posts in this thread or the total paid attendance at Marlins Park tonight?

If RB were here, we'd have decided that issue already.
