Your punishment is to go back to the byto archive and read every post dankind ever made.

That shouldn't take long, it was just the same four posts repeated over and over again.

Seriously? There's a game tonight?

Double-U. Tee. Eff.

Sorry guys.

I'm reporting you to the mods. Violation of "updated comment policy," item 3.

Pretty sure the stats get washed away if it ends up not being an official game. If the game is suspended they still count. Looks like that won't be an issue here though.

Unless the rules have changed, the stats always count, even if the game doesn't. That's why you sometimes get players that are listed with games played being more than 162 games.

Not that we don't have this one in the bag or anything, but it might have been nice to cash in an extra run or two these past two innings.

I would put Diamond out there again. The two two-out singles were both softly hit balls that fell in the right places. He's got to get back in a groove again, so let him work through it. We also have a bullpen on fumes.

Is that it for Diamond? If not, should it be?
I'm going to guess he comes out for the 6th, and I'd be OK with that, with a RH reliever ready if needed.

Pedro Florimon Jr. left Thursday's game against the Tigers with a right index finger sprain.

It's not clear how long the malady might sideline the infielder. Eduardo Escobar took Florimon's spot at shortstop Thursday.
