It would be a daily shopping trip to the waiver wire to rotate through guys to build up IP. I could grab someone like Feldman and then drop him and get someone else to throw Sunday like Diamond.

 

Who are your top 6? You must have daily roster changes. If so, I would drop him for the streaming spot.

Yeah... It's plays like those that don't count as errors but are defensive examples of what winning teams do.

 

Its a play that could have saved a run or led to a big inning for the Sox. That's the stuff baseball is made of.

Yep, is it bad that I thought about Nick Punto for a second? That's the kind of goofy play that he'd make.

I don't understand this at all. Buchholz is over 100 pitches and we aren't shelling him. I just. don't. get it.

 

Because you are not used to seeing a pitcher of this caliber, except on other teams. (I'm guessing that was your point.)

i would normally drop Kendrick over Hellickson but Kendrick is pitching well enough to kill that idea.

I would say go for it. If Hellickson starts to pick it up, drop Kendrick. Your staff doesn't look great, so you probably can't sacrifice tallying stats for rate stats.

Is it just me, or do the top half of most innings seem to take a lot longer than the bottom half?

For 12 team league... I'm pretty happy with that staff. Medlen will be the problem child out of that bunch... I can live with that.

I always kind of assumed that an average half-inning should last about 10 minutes - figure a 3-hour game length, divided by 18 half innings.

 

you have to factor in the commercials.
