Alex Meyer- 5IP, 7H, 3ER, 4BB and 7Ks

 

Not the best outing but not horrible. Hopefully he can start being really consistent and come up to the team. Cant wait for him and Gibson to be in the roto, we really need them. They can both throw hard and get strikeouts, something the Twins dont do. Currently the Twins have by far the least amount of Ks in the league. Our starters are ranked last in the league for Ks with the next team ahead of them have double ours. Thats sad, Yu Darvish has like 6 less Ks than all of our starters combined ha.

 

If Meyer and Gibson can turn into good top of the roto pitchers and we draft Manaea or Stewart and one of them becomes a good starter for us than we would have a pretty good roto several years from now with guys that can get Ks and throw with some power.

Andrew Albers has quietly had a very good season in AAA with almost 9 K's per 9 innings average and very few walks. Any chance he is in the mix with Deduno, Devries, and Gibson as the next pitcher to come up.
