Rumor: Twins meeting with Correa and willing to offer 10 year deal with multiple opt outs

Maybe, but I'm not betting on that and punting the current year with Gray, Mahle, Maeda and others on the roster.....

Not adding to this team is giving up on this roster, frankly. I recall when people said the Twins were all set up with Mauer and Morneau.....you just don't know the future health or production of any player. The division is still ripe for the taking. Go for it.

If Correa prioritizes money, the Giants ownership will vastly outbid the Twins.

They just offered $400mil to Judge. 

Twins's only hope is that Correa wants to win.

Because for as far away from winning we may think the Twins are, the Giants are even farther. They have the Dodgers and Padres to leapfrog and I believe even the D-backs are projected to be better than the Giants right now.

At least the Twins are the projected #2 team in their division right now, with a shot at winning it.

Lets stop with all the opt-outs. This is getting old. I understand thats what Boras wants, but we need to be able to get players that don't want opt outs and a full no trade clause. This is ridiculous. I'm sure with those opt outs, the minute the team starts tanking, he would opt out and decide that the Twins were the wrong fit for him. Correa needs to take a look at the most recent signing of Turner and Bogaerts and think REAL hard. Does he want to opt out, or does he want to be the face of the franchise for a team to build around?

I personally don't mind opt outs. It's 1 or 2 year opt outs that I don't like.
