I was typing instead of watching, so someone correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounded like he forgot to field a single to right and turned it into three bases.

I really don't understand how our prospects remain so raw in the field, after time in the minors.  They've been playing baseball all their lives, and get professional coaching for a couple of years... and still, this???

He went down on a knee and the ball still went through his legs. He looks like a DH to me.

Coaches who can't teach? Players who won't/can't/don't learn?

Minor League, including AAA is NOT Major League, doing well there too often means squat in the Big Show. but then Wallner was abysmal  even in the Minors.

Maybe AAA for him next year if not , AA.

It is a fine line to play, as he did succeed in drawing a throw. Sadly, it was on target.

I can't see how that would have even been a possibility in this situation.
