Welcome back Twins fans to another workday game thread! I'm still dealing with emotional issues regarding this season. If you would have told me back in May we would be in this situation I would have laughed at the absurdity. Under .500 and 9 games back on September 22 is disgusting. I guess we can cheer for the younger players trying to fill in for our ailing starters.

I did have an idea for next year though. Maybe we move the Twins team to Rochester, Minnesota to be closer to the Mayo Clinic. It may help with injuries, etc. Just a thought though....Would love to hear from others on what they would do next year to improve the health and durability of this team. Clearly letting your stars take a couple of days of each week has not helped.

Hang in there Twins fans! Brighter days are ahead for this team.

Go Twins!

I am watching the game on television and listening on the radio, and the TV is near one minute behind the radio broadcast, kind of wierd.

Good thing Gordon has leaping abilities of the ball would have gone to center field on Hamilton's throw, ach, Perez just drove in a run, on the radio, yup and now on the TV.

It is different listening and watching and knowing what is going to happen, long before the pitch is thrown.

It would be nice if the Twins could win 8 more games and finish at least at  .500.

Twins are playing KC this week like they can't wait for this season to end. Lifeless. And yeah, Arraez may not make it to the finish line above .300. His bat has lost all its energy. The outs are weak.  He's probably more hurt than they are letting on....like most the team right now. Odds of seeing Buck, Polo, Kep, Larnach, Jeffers in a game the rest of the season...probably zero.

situations like this have totally grounded the Twins the last month. 1st and 3rd no outs...and your best hitters can't do the job to get in the runs. So far Correa pops out. Gordon at least gets a SF to plate one, but they still trail 3-1. This is where Miranda needs to get that 2 out hit but instead a very weak fly out. This is why Twins can't even beat KC right now.

This has been a big problem all year

Clear example of why Arraez is no longer a batting champ for 2022...leadoff walk and then a routine weak DP bouncer to kill that potential rally. Correa fans and thats that. Just a miserable game. Guys look deflated and defeated. (which they are)

While it feels like the Twins are daring fans to care about the team as the season winds down, I'd like to think it's possible they're also daring ownership to just shrug off this season and last year as injury-plagued 'Hey, we'll get 'em next year!' blips on the radar instead of being concerned that it's something more troubling.
