Well I officially say I watched every out.

that’s got to be worth some kind of award

Do I get one for watching this disaster in person at Yankee Stadium? (actually, I think I was in the bathroom for Hamilton’s at bat, since I don’t remember it at all)

My girlfriend was at the Harry Styles concert at MSG tonight, probably would have been more worth your time ?

Cleveland lost. This division is so bad. First team to 82 wins gets the AL Central title.

It's embarrassing. Cleveland is the 7th best team in the AL by win % and they play in a division that has 2 of the 3 worst teams in the league.

A postseason berth shouldn't have any bearing on how this season is judged for the Twins. Whoever "wins," this pathetic division likely won't deserve a playoff spot.

Me. I think otherwise.  The majority of this club is under the age of 29.  Even if they end up at 500, it's an ~10 game improvement from last season and actually have a pitching staff in place to build upon rather than last year, where there are very few recognizable faces.

I think a team being forced to start Gordon (in the IF), Celestino, Garlick, Leon and Cave in September is decimated with injuries right now.  Having Polanco, Kepler, Buxton, Kirilloff, Jeffers and Larnach...and even Sano all out is more or less killing offensive production.

No need to flush and reset, you reset last year, build on what you have this year.

Is last season really the bar to clear?

Kepler, Jeffers, and Sano all did a pretty good job of killing offensive while in the lineup. If I told you in March that Buxton would make it to September before going on the IL, would you have taken it?

Is postseason baseball more fun than choking away a terrible division? Yes. Will I tune in to the postseason games? Absolutely. Does winning this awful division (their only shot at getting in) erase the fact that this isn't a good team? No.

Yup . Because Twin management would "rest"  him before Magical have to declare injured # games would show on DL or il

maybe even the GMs

This is always where it begins. They put together the roster. They set the organizational philosophy. But they will be the last to go. And whoever goes under them … manager, coaches players … will just get replaced by the same
