2019--Eddie Roasrio had 109 RBI in 590 PA, Trout had 104 in 600 (source is fangraphs)

2020--I will retract, Rosario had 42 in 231, Trout had 46 in 241.

The point remains--across those 2 seasons, Eddie had 151 RBI in 821 PAs, Trout had 150 RBI in 841 PAs.  Since you said you will take RBI over any other offensive stat, are you willing to admit that you think for the two year span of 2019 and 2020, Eddie Rosario was a better offensive player than Mike Trout?

My bad on 2019. You are correct.

And yes. I'll take RBI at the end of the season over any other offensive stat. I'd say in this case the exception proves the rule.

Alternative facts

I still didn't do the research myself. Just too lazy. Now I don't know what to believe.

But in the end, I am one that loves a guy with a lot of RBI. Always. Sure you have to be lucky to get the opportunities, but if you have high RBI, you stepped up when you got them.

I'll never understand why guys slide in 1B.

Short answer is I think guys are running full tilt, and don’t want to slow down or try to figure out their stride, so they just smash full bore so they know they won’t miss the base.

and yes missing first base is a thing

That is 100% on Watkins. Celestino slowed up like he should. He’s not looking at the RF. Watkins should be fired immediately and should have already

The entire management and coaching staff needs fired. They need to clean house completely.

Well, that’s game.  I’m also just ready for the season to be over at this point.  This team doesn’t deserve the playoffs.

Completely agree. I can’t stomach much more of their nauseating ineptitude and Rocco’s painful imbecility.

Hitting is important whether there are guys on base or not, if you’re hitting consistently RBI’s will come

I was at a game in Dodger stadium with the Twins up late, and Granite threw the ball to first base from the outfield, and there was nobody there!
