Baseball Stadium Rankings

American Family Field (Miller Park) - Milwaukee is a plastic dump on par with the Metrodome and should be in tier 10. Maybe the excitable fans add to the atmosphere. If you are simply ranking the stadium itself, it is vastly overrated.  I will always just drive another couple of hours and go to one of the Chicago stadiums. I was impressed with the White Sox stadium, really enjoyed the scoreboard setup there.

Not sure what you saw in Angels Stadium, it came across as very generic to me. To place Target Field in the same tier as Angels Stadium is an absolute joke.

Congratulations on seeing so many stadiums. My dad is nearing 80 years old and told me this summer while we were visiting Wrigley that he wants to see all major league stadiums.

I don't know about absolute joke...viewpoints are personal but as I stated earlier, I admit that the ranking for Angels stadium was probably influenced by the seats I had and the beautiful night to enjoy them.

Riverbain how many spring training stadiums have you been to?  Where would the Twins Fort Myers rank on this list?

Also I live near Anaheim and I don’t see how it ranks higher than Rockies stadium.  Granted I went there when it was a new stadium.  It was a way better experience then Angels stadium.  Well there was a Twins game at Angels Stadium where the Twins hit 8 homers.  That was fun…..  Also the appeal at Angels stadium is seein all the former great Twins on the Stadium Walls….. Carew, Hunter, Dean Chance, Bert Blylevin among others…

I need to get to more stadiums.

Target Field is my #1 (sans late-night LRT nonsense)

Otherwise, I've only been to:

Wrigley Field

Guaranteed Rate Field (back when it was New Comiskey Park)

loanDepot Park (actually went to the very first game when it opened as Marlins Park )

Jack Murphy Stadium

Kauffman Stadium (This is my #2)

Metrodome

I'm very impressed by all the TD members that have been to so many stadiums.

I have never been to a spring training. Hope to on my next trip.

Angel stadium appears to be my most shocking ranking. I can only say that I had a great time. ?

Going to Fenway Park was like stepping into a basilica. So what if the concourse is too small, that place is an absolute gem.

PNC and Camden Yards are my favorite of the modern stadiums. No surprise there. Target Field isn't in the top five, but it's definitely in the top ten. Looking forward to going to Petco Park someday.

When my in-laws come to town they always want to go to a restaurant that I don't care for that much.

I know you can't be referring to the Grand Forks Olive Garden. I understand that place got rave reviews when it opened.?

Absolutely Not. The Olive Garden Chicken Alfredo is "warm and comforting on a cold day". ?

BTW... We love Marilyn Hagerty. She is a town treasure. She must be in her upper 90's now and she has NEVER written a bad review. I never doubt her reviews either, all those restaurants have served her proper nutrition because she has lived a long life. If I don't like a restaurant... I must be wrong!

Her weekly column always ended with an awarding of the "cheerful person of the week". Just think about that for a second, in a world, that is just looking for a reason to be angry, she steadfastly celebrated cheerfulness. I was granted that designation once and I was congratulated many times by random acquaintances that I crossed path's with, which reinforced cheerfulness and that's how it can spread in the wind.

She went viral because of social media condescension, and the innocence of her review is absolutely funny but still ironic because the world doesn't seem to realize just how badly it needs people like Marilyn to find the good in us.

I've never been to a city council meeting. When I finally attend one... it will be to request that her statue be built and prominently placed. ?

I'm one who thinks that Fenway and Wrigley are both overrated. I certainly recognize the long and storied history of both places, but in terms of the quality of the facilities they are dumps compared to new stadiums.

PNC gets consistent top reviews from people who have seen most MLB venues, such as media people. I will certainly get to a game there at some point in the future. It's a shame that the franchise has not been able to generate baseball worthy of such a gem.

I agree with you on Wrigley. I loved Fenway though, the Green Monster hangs over that park like a full moon, it just dominates that park beautifully.

PNC... was perfectly placed in the city, on the river with the best view of any city skyline in the game. It's a must see. Go up on Mount Washington for a nighttime city view and get a Primanti Sandwich when you are there.
