There is probably a lot of overtime being accrued at 150% or 200% of the normal hourly rate.

 

I was talking with a police officer friend awhile back and I said to him " you must run across some interesting characters.

 

He said " you have no idea" and when I chuckled at that... He said... I'm serious... You really have no idea... If people knew how many wacked out people are around. They'd all buy farms to get away from them".

Or they would be more supportive of spending more tax dollars on mental health services and family planning.

If he weren't busy pitching today, I would send Kevin Correia up to Grand Forks to help. He seems to be able to stay calm in a crisis situation.

 

I think that a lot of fans who complained about the KC signing are happily eating crow now. It will be interesting to see if KC can be traded for a solid prospect if the Twins are not contending at the all star break.

True, but I think it says something about this crowd that when the topic is about yogurt but tampons become involved, the conversation turns to different fruit flavors.

I'm always amused at how crestfallen Bremer sounds whenever the Twins have ANY chance at a sacrifice bunt and don't do it. I though he was gonna start crying over Hicks not bunting.
