Celestino does not strike out , Twins score runs; Celestino catches the ball, Gallo does not come up.

I bet Gordon is boiling for being pulled for Celestino. Celestino was horrible in the field last night, too.

On the bright side I can cross Dodger Stadium off the list to see

You can walk all the way around the stadium now on field level. All the new stuff in center from the 2020 renovation. Plus the museum in the loge level. Bobble head display in left center.

Just got home. Can anyone fill me in on Buxton? Play, not play, IL, recess time?

Not in the lineup.

Who knows.

This much I know: I'm pretty disappointed he went to the AS game.

Looking back at the video highlight of Celestino batting with the bases loaded...... the 3-2 pitch from Vesia was right down the middle like Jax's was to Gallo, only at 95 instead of 97. Two totally different results. Our hitters make mistakes look like good pitches, and our pitcher's mistakes are crushed. Just another example.

I am also in that boat, but I honestly don't think it mattered.

Well I couldn't disagree more. It matters.

Whether they win or lose an individual game might not depend on any single player.

Whether they win or lose over time absolutely is affected by whether they have better players than the opposition.

I don't think his playing in the ASG affected his playing time going forward, except that he missed the Detroit series due to postponing the PRP injection. I think he aggravated, or worsened, the knee during the Milwaukee or San Diego series with that awkward swing. It sucks not having him out there, but obviously he is nowhere near 100% and is trying to play through it. Eventually he will be shut down and the teams season will go with him.
