3 of 5 against LA?

A split isn't out of the question, Ryan vs. Urias, but the better match up might be Gray vs undecided (never heard of this guy ?).

I hate going into any series where both Bundy and Archer pitch, but it is the Angels and they have Ward and Ohtani and a bunch of replacement level players, so 2 out of three should be required.

Plus a yesterday and Thursday being days off should help the pen and the starters.

I like the 3 out of 5 idea. Since I'm going to the first three games in LA, I am pulling that they win the first three in this scenario then lose Saturday and Sunday. I saw the Dodgers on Sunday dismantle the Padres in precision fashion, so in reality one of two at Dodger Stadium is a real good thing.

I'd take 3 of 5 out there in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, I'm not that optimistic about our chances. I'm thinking more along the lines of a 1-4 trip.

I don’t think it’s a stretch to say they’ll get swept by the Dodgers, but I don’t see us losing to series to the Angels as well. The Angels are NOT good.

Three wins are definitely doable given that the Angels are TERRIBLE.

Agreed, I think the real question is how the Dodgers series will go. The Dodgers destroyed us in Minneapolis. This Twins team is better than that Twins team, but the Dodgers are literally on pace for 112 wins. We will have Gray & Ryan going in these next two games, so we might have a shot at winning one of them.

Now 3 against the Angels is the plan. They are looking up at the Cleveland team now so time to get a streak going. Maybe Buxton can actually play a series now or is Rocco waiting until the ChiSox pass them?

The Twins are not playing good baseball as a team right now. The Angels are bad and losing last night was ridiculous because that game should have been a blow out win. Something within the team is not right and the players are not working together. you can sense it and see it in their faces at various times. Baseball has a long season and many shifts in behavior and attitude as well as physical wellness play into the outcomes. Hopefully the Twins can discover something positive on the plane ride back to Minnesota.

Today's game looms a little bigger than it would if they had won last last night, as 2 of 3 against the Angels is a must. The kid pitching for the Angels has bad numbers, but he's in a pattern of having a good start following a bad start, and his last start was a bad one. Plus he's left-handed.

I am going to assume Buxton gets today off, but Correa needs to play as do both Miranda and Urshela. And, right-handed or not, Beckham needs to sit. Archer also needs to at least match his last start, as Duran and Lopez are both probably not available today, so the fewer pitchers used to, hopefully, get to Fulmer, the better.

Oh well it was a nice thought. Next up Royals who shut out the Dodgers yesterday and are playing much better unlike the team from MN. I am afraid that it might be time to trade Buxton and convince Correa that he made a bad decision (actually the Twins made a bad decision.).

In exchange for what, more pipe dreams?

I am surprised Beckham has seemed to have forgotten how to swing a bat, but then a lot say bring up player Q from the minors to replace player P, well minor numbers rarely follow the player to the Majors.
