GAME THREAD: Twins vs. Blue Jays, 8/7/22, 1:10CT | 2:10ET

I just popped in to see how many "we're doomed cuz Archer is pitching!" followed by "Pagan will give up 5 runs now, guaranteed!" followed by "well there goes any chance of staying in this game now that Sands is in!" comments there were. Basically 4 full pages. Not bad, not bad.

Well finally caught up tothe broadcast thanks to my fast forward finger and the pitching has exceeded expectations, but the hitting not so much. Sands looks like he's settled down from his first appearances.

That really sucks! I hope he's got $1000 to spend on food and souvenirs for them...because he'll probably need to.

Mauer had a lot of Sundays off.  I always thought, that the Twins being thought of as a 'regional team", it was unfair to those people who traveled on the weekends not to be ablr to see him play.  A lot of rural people, with limited funds, were very disappointed.
