anyone else mildly disappointed with Correa’s year?

I am and have said so. But in looking at his career stats..his BA is only 10 points under his career BA. His extra base power is down...Slugging and OPS are down. Not 'seriously' but enough to notice he isn't having the season he had last year for sure. As of those other wfPQKTRT@6JK+ stats that I have no clue what they mean or why...I'll let the guys who use them and like them tell that tale. I happily yield!

Healthy for the most part this year, too.

OK--so Sox lost too. Today is just a push. And all things considered, its a decent result for the Twins, given how badly this game has gone.

I'd like to see somebody come out tomorrow and give us 7 or 8 innings...a refreshing change.

Baldelli's post game remarks:

" We'll refill the sunflower seed bag and bubble gum bucket and come after them tomorrow"

"Hopefully, a family emergency will cause me to leave the team for the next 3 days"

" I just can't say more about our ground crew.  Every hard hit ball by the Jays took a true bounce into the outfield."

"We have a limited budget, so we will only use pitchers who are wearing used uniforms.  The new guys will be used very sparingly".

Dude? Why would Baldelli ever say anything like this?

Hopefully tonight convinces Rocco to stop running out Pagan and Duffey in non-garbage time situations.

Bullpens no longer work that way, if they ever did. There are no "low leverage guys." Particularly when your plan includes multiple relievers every night. Tonight was the 9th straight game where the starter did not throw a pitch past the 5th inning.

They were in a tight game yesterday. They used their best (including a clean inning from Pagan). It's impossible to navigate through even a week without needing every reliever on your staff to pitch in a close game.

You know how money in Vegas you make, when the house doesn't pay on a push,?  Bo Diddley Squat.

I still only see one relief pitcher on the roster I’d go into Yankees Stadium in October with: Duran. However I haven’t checked the new closer’s stats in New York.

You’re right but My goodness I hope you aren’t setting the bar that high lol even Joe Nathan wilted in October in New York

Why would you allow Gray to throw 96 pitches on a bad night but remove him after 79 pitches when he’s pitching good?

Glad somebody else noticed. But really, he had a 1-0 lead. It wasn't that bad. Just extra runners with 5 walks. 1 hit. 5 Ks in 5 innings. I don't really call that bad. Liriano had a no-hitter with 8 walks. I wouldn't call that bad, either.

The main thing is that he should have been left in the game with the 79 pitches last game. At least start the next inning.
