Roster Move: Jovani Moran was optioned to AAA-STP to make room for tomorrow's starter Tyler Mahle. OF Gilberto Celestino was activated from the paternity list and Kyle Garlick hit the 10 day IL

The Pitchers: RHP Sonny Gray (6-3, 3.41 ERA, 74.0IP, 69K's, 1.0 bWAR) vs RHP Alek Manoah (11-5, 2.43 ERA, 126IP, 114 K's, 3.3 bWAR)

The Minnesota Twins will have their hands full with tonight's starter Alek Manoah, who was possibly the biggest winner of the ASG after his mic'd up appearance in Hollywood. Alek last started against the Tigers, going 5.1IP, allowing 4 earned runs on 7 hits including a homer, a walk, and 4 strikeouts. Manoah has yet to start a game this year where he's failed to get through at least 5 innings of work. It is possible the team will be cautious with him as he is a younger arm, but the Jays are right in the middle of a wild card hunt, and he's the best arm on staff. Manoah features a mid 90's fastball, an 80MPH slider, a sinking fastball, and a changeup that he only throws to LHH. The 4 seam is the best pitch per run values, which is -9. The worst pitch is the sinker, which has a RV of only -1.

So I'm sitting in my favorite little bar, enjoying a beverage, waiting for tonight's game to start. The guy next to me is one of those annoying know-it-alls, and he was really getting on my nerves.

I could tell he considered me to be of limited intellect. So I sort of goaded him into a little contest. If he asked me a question and I couldn't answer, that'd cost me $10. If I asked him a question, and he couldn't answer, he would owe me $100.

He thought it would be easy money.

"You start," I said.

He asked me some theoretical math question that I had no chance of answering. I handed him his ten bucks, and he gave me the answer, which was Greek to me.

"My turn," I said. "What animal walks on 2 legs, crawls on 4, and sleeps on 6?"

He thought and thought, and finally admitted he didn't know while handing me ten $10s.

"Now what's the animal?" He asked.

"Dunno," I said, dropping a ten spot on the bar. "Gotta go. See you."

On the plus side, that tenner bought me a nice drink....

Chief, you really should give me an opportunity to get my money back!

Gray is painting just off the outside corner. Rightfully not getting the call, but some night's he does get them. Seems like he's struggling some with the slider command.

Think Gray is smart enough to see what he can get away with the 1st couple innings, Problem with it- Rocco is such a Pitch Count Manager instead of in -game manager,  Gotta find the right balance,
