WSJ: The Pure Joy of Baseball for These Children With Disabilities

Recommended Posts

Great story in the Wall Street Journal today. As a person with a disability who played JV and various summer leagues, I was never very good, but I enjoyed playing until I had a coach who felt like I shouldn't play because of my disability. That coach belittled me in front of my team until I quit. Seeing this story gives me hope that societally we are starting to change our ideas about such things.
