Royce Lewis has more WAR in 40 ABs than Greene does in 80 innings, by the way. Far too early to call that the wrong selection

We'll never find out if Lewis can't stay healthy  Do his injury issues remind you of anyone?

I am not calling it wrong. I am saying I would still rather have had Greene than Lewis. By far. For so many reasons. WAR WAR WAR. Blah blah blah.

like I said...horrible team...no matter what the record says.  We cannot win games like this, and we won't win many the remainder of the year.  Sweeep coming tomorrow as Bundy is due for a bad one.  Then we get to lose 2 to the Brewers

Sad, but likely true.

about to be 2.5  ohh my bad.  But honestly, in the grand scheme of things who cares, they aren't a real contender.  Probably the 8th or 9th best team in The AL.

Folks like to project "on the pace to win" crap. I see it as the Twins are on the pace to be .500 team. They play .500, and have had one 7 or 8 game winning steak. That means they are due for the 7-8 game losing streak and on pace to be a .500 team, especially when you rely on Smeltzer and Pagan and Archer and Bundy and Ober and and and....... to keep playing above their true talent, or just don't have the talent.

Why do they boo Correa on the road everywhere?

Chicago and Cleveland are so bad I really have my doubts that they could overtake us. But its certainly not over yet

Except that the Twins would have kept him at SS and TD would be calling him another 1st round failure....

Reminder that this team was 36-50 on July 8th 2021. Is Correa worth 20+ wins?

after starting 15-29, they played .500 ball the rest of the season.  So yes, the team that ended last season isn't much different than this team, except for Correa.

As I said the other night the managerial blunder in not focusing on getting 3 stinking outs to sweep and drive the Sox way down and instead save their best pitching option for future big moments that may never come would probably serve to kick off a losing streak … so far so good.  Could be fatal as far as winning this division goes.

Do you really not know? Especially when the last two games were in Arlington?

You mean only Twins' fans, the righteous Twins' fans, now ignore his cheating and adore him? The rest of baseball still remember, and continue to hold him accountable?

This years team started 27-17 and has gone 20-23 since.....less than .500.

And if THIS team can't win THIS division, well....the future does not bode well.  I will say it again,...not a winning core with this group of players, coaches and FO.

As I've stated elsewhere, this team is becoming more and more difficult to watch with each passing game.  Hence, I'm not planning to even turn tomorrow's game on.  Largely because I don't want or need the aggravation.

So now we see who is a Twins fan and who is a fair-weather Twins fan.

I stuck it out last season, but with college football starting late August, I will turn my attention to that if things don't improve.

Then why bother to watch or spend time commenting or posting? I'm not trying to be mean ... but if it's that upsetting, why? If it's not fun ... why waste your time with it?
