Oh so instead you're complaining about the 4.5 game lead after tonight and a 5-0 record against the pre-season favorite? I don't understand some posters. Rocco deserves criticism. I agree.  Pulling a rookie at 77 pitches the third time through after getting hit around the past 2 innings is not one of those.

Is this complaining about complaining? Seems that could be a vicious cycle, instead of just letting people be themselves and you be yourself.

I'm talking in general, overal several, games, moths, seasons.  The guy, to me, has an agenda, that sometimes is questionable.  If you can't read that in my post, my apologies.

Yeah, the agenda that Rocco uses with his backend starters is the exact same gameplan that every other team uses that is trying to win ballgames. There are no (smart) teams that are letting the Bundy, Archer, and Winder's of the pitching world face a team a third time in a semi-close game unless they are throwing a shutout or no hitter. It's just how the game is played now. It isn't unique to Rocco or to the Twins.

Not real sure that was a baserunning blunder. Freeze on a line drive. That's exactly what Harrison did.

Ever hear Bremer say that about a Twin,  ?  he only criticizes other teams if at all

This strategy works for teams with good bullpens, not teams like the Twins where the reliever who gets the extra inning the starter isn't pitching is actually worse than the starter's third time through the order.

If they asked the ChiSox, I don't think they want to stick around on the remote chance they can score 6 runs with only 5 ours remaining.  Certainly the Twins want to dry out and get to sleep before the matinee tomorrow.....

Call it. It’s pouring.

I live 2.5 miles from the park, and it’s not raining here at all. Can see the occasional lightning, but no rain here

From the radar I just viewed surrounding greater Chicago metro area--------this rain looks like it will continue well past midnight.  Time for umpiring crew to call this game within the next 20 minutes.

It is bad strategy to have bad pitchers pitch more innings than good pitchers.

Trying to avoid injury to key players on very wet field?

Gordon and Garlick are as key as any one on the team.
