Game Thread Twins @ White Sox 7:10pm cdt 7/4/2022 ad

Recommended Posts

When in the course of human events. it becomes necessary for one fan base to complain vociferously enough about the lack of base running, and the dubious control we have on our opponents running game, and become so focussed that we lose ourselves in one petty detail, like if Buxton steels home on a strike 3 for a third out, does he actually have to beat the pitch home, beat the catcher controlling his bobbling of the pitch in an effort to get the tag down? or does he have to beat the other umps check swing call?

Curious minds want to know these things...

Anyway, it is good to take step back, appreciate the big picture, that the season is actually going okay despite a speed bump or two.

And even the summer isn't too bad, and no extra terrestrials enslaving us or meteors wanting to prove the got the rite stuff. True, the world isn't perfect yet, but it ain't necessarily bad, leastwise in our isolated pockets of the internet.

So pull up a tasty choice of sustenance, invite some fine friends and/or family over turn on the game and lets enjoy the wild ride that is a Twins game!

ChiSox activated Liam Hendriks today. Hopefully, we score plenty of runs in all three games, and they don't have an opportunity to use him.

PSA - look out for pets when the fools in the neighborhood start trying to blow their fingers off.

Also don't blow your fingers off.

Blow on your fingers all ya want though.

Er... addendum.

Goes for baseball players too.

Some of them line drives are pretty hot.

Generally best to complete any task with the same number of fingers that you started it with.

Whomever comes up with the bases jacked with less than two outs, should just stand there and take everything. At least then we won't hit into a double play and kill the inning.
