No one is selling right now. Gonna have to remain afloat for the next month with internal options.

In that case, we're in a world of hurt, because, IMHO, we're sorely lacking in viable internal options.  Doesn't matter if you're talking pitching or hitting.

In other news, I must say that even in defeat Surly's Furious is really delicious.

The Twins will rebound but Falvey needs to get back from vacation. For those who have ever said 2022 is not the year for the Twins consider that next year all teams play a balanced schedule. The Twins are set to win the division with just a couple of moves. This can be a starter and a reliever or two relief pitchers.

Ball goes under first baseman glove; outfielder hits fence before ball gets there, left fielder has a weak arm and instead of charging the ball wait for it to get to him.

Poor fielding a Twins trade-mark.

yup.

And how about the bonehead ump call missing the bounce? The spirits are not on our side.

The Big Show is not where rookies should be learning; we need some veterans to fill holes.

Sano will be no worse at first than Kirilloff and is a threat to pitchers because of what he can do, even if he does not.

The twins would be foolish to deal high prospects for anyone who wouldn’t contribute beyond this year

This is a common line but let us all know who exactly is a high prospect. FWIW, Royce Lewis would no longer be considered a prospect because the league knows his experience at the major league level. If you are talking about players on the 26 person roster or Lewis, maybe there is a point. The Twins are not going to give up a bunch of prospects for a nobody. We don't need to worry about Falvey trading our five favorite prospects for some loser relief pitcher.
