Another example of Plouffe not passing the eye test. The strikeouts are easier for me to take than that garbage. That was a brutal atbat. Twins are up 2-1 if Plouffe gets him over. Baseball 101. That will probably be the difference in the game.

Worley smirks as Hammer can't get to the foul fly ball -- of course no dive for the ball. Many LFs would have gotten to that ball. Good job to get the DP though.

Can't hardly blame him for not diving. He wouldn't have caught it anyway and probably would have screwed up his back.

If I'm the manager, Worley doesn't come out for the 8th unless the Twins score 5 or more in the top.

If Florimon stays out of the way Worley catches that. You could see how he short armed it when he felt Florimon coming.

I would say the exact opposite. You don't want your pitcher catching pop ups... Especially trying to catch it over his shoulder... Florimon has to call for it... Vance has to get out of the way.

That didn't happen... Bad baseball.

Arcia respect... They bring in the lefty to face him... Some guy named Veal. About the worst last name for pitcher.

How can you not call him MEAT with a last name like that.

Not just meat... But rookie meat.

They've been sending Hicks curveballs all day. And why not...

I was shocked that peavy was starting to miss with the breaking stuff yet was less worried about missing with that than he was about Hicks hitting his fastball.

Hicks has 7 walks and 2 hits. If there's such a thing as an unsustainable sub-.200 OBP, we're seeing it...
