The high temp here tomorrow is supposed to be 59. 59! Isn’t it like 110 in Arizona now?

After hitting 98 here a couple days ago, our high tomorrow will be 61 …

And my rehearsal tomorrow is now cancelled so I can watch the rest of this game ,,, woo hoo

Bob Turley gave up 10 hits and 9 walks but only 2 runs in a 9-inning complete game.  Quality!

I'll stop after this, if only because "worst" is a fuzzy term, but going back to a deader-ball era, there is this gem:

Charlie Chech fashioned a CG 8-3 win while giving up 15 hits and 8 walks, evening his season record at 11-11.  Too bad no play-by-play log is available, to marvel at.

Quality!

Doesn't indicate what kind of quality though, does it?

Poor is still a form of quality!

Lol … I like temps in the 80s … but those 90s temps this past week, the humidity was low-Ish, so it really wasn’t bad

“Chech scattered 15 hits…”

I was on the North shore earlier this week and it barely hit 60 the three days we were there.  If it hadn't been raining and windy, it would have been very pleasant.

How about Quantity pitching, then?  I know I said I'd stop, but consider this:

https://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/CLE/CLE193207100.shtml

After the starter lasted only an inning, Eddie Rommel came in, and pitched 17 innings of relief, giving up 14 runs (to be fair, one was unearned) on 29 base hits and 9 bases on balls.  He saved his best pitching for the extra innings, as you might guess, but when his team scored 2 in the top of the 16th, he gave them right back, and the game went on!

Stathead at baseball-reference.com is a wonderful tool.
