So tomorrow I've got some tri-tip to throw on the smoker/grill.  If I make it early will it be a j*nx?  I may even go to the game if I make it early enough.

Well, possibly … do you need the anti-jinx formula?

Congrats to Archer, i stikk think he represents better value than a few of our pitchers

I was a believer before he even got here and he’s done nothing but confirm my belief that he belongs in the rotation. I trust him. I’m anxious to see pitches 71-100 someday if the brainwizards ever allow it.

the second most recent twins win over the Yankees with a margin of 7 runs or more? Yep, you guessed it, 5/9/1998, also an 8-1 win

It's a little sad that we take comfort from stuff like this, but I take comfort from this.

Not sure. It's just that tri-tip is kinda bougie, whereas chicken is the meal of the masses. I figure celebrating early with expensive stuff is sticking it to those East-Coast-Establishment-Noblesse-Oblige Yankees.  Will sticking it to them jinx it?

To think that this is just the second time since the Clinton administration that the twins have beaten the Yankees by 7 runs or more, is just mind bending

That must have been in Minnesota since I was at the David Wells perfect game at Yankee Stadium a week or so later.

It was, but I sure as heck didn’t want to say that

For those wondering, the largest margin of victory over NY in franchise history was a 14-1 drubbing for the senators over the Yankees on May 2, 1914. Who could forget that?

I am actually confused.

How do you drop pant legs one at a time?

Removing one's legs, sure. But the initial drop kinda has to be simultaneous, doesn't it?

Seek no answers here, for topology is math, and this be a game thread.
