Let's hope we're done with pollyanna tweets like "It was a bad day but our brave hero Bundy bared down and saved the bullpen" nonsense that we heard the last time he gave up 6 runs.

The dude's toast. Like @USAFChief, I unfortunately don't think this is his last start. He'll likely get at least 2-3 more starts and then 2-3 more looks out of the bullpen before he's DFA'ed. Twins will unfortunately throw away a few more games while they try and figure out what the world already knows.

Unfortunately, you're probably right, but no offense meant...I really, REALLY, hope you're wrong.

Bundy started the year great going 3-0 with 0.59 ERA while averaging around 5 innings per start. Since then, in 6 starts he is 0-3 (assuming the Twins don't come back today) with a 9.12 ERA while only averaging 4 innings a game. It's hard to believe that Sands would be worse, and by giving the starts to a rookie the innings would at least be going towards player development.

Well Mr Wilfong...you might get your position player pitching wish to come true today. I don't know who it's gonna be, but things are trending that way.

I'm not advocating for Bundy by any means but it's not very difficult to imagine Sands would be worse.
