Tim Laudner was one of my favorite Twins ever since I was 7, asked for his autograph, looked on the back of the card I was asking him to sign, and realized we had the same birthday.

I mean, not the same birth year, just the day. I suppose that would be mildly unusual for a MLB catcher to only be 7.

Oakland has the worst BA, OBP and SLG in the league. 
He just mowed down the twins first 6 hitters

Yeah, I think it's probably fair to say that, but I don't think anyone thinks he's anything more than JAG. He's in the position to make spot starts because Balazovic, SWR, Varland and Canterino are all a month or two away and Winder is hurt.

I agree with Kaat. If MLB can’t find any other way to shorten games then they should just make all games 7 innings. Plenty long enough
