We’ve deserved to lose the past 4 games, to be honest

Too true. Don't get me wrong, terrible teams don't win 6 in a row -- but this team is nowhere near as talented as many are giving credit for.

As for Pagan, I think at some point he's got to take on a different role in this 'pen. Like the low man on the totem pole role, only pitching in blowouts type stuff.

Lots of smoke and mirrors here, I’m not excited yet. We don’t comfortably beat teams and we have only a couple reliable relievers who undoubtedly will be overworked by july

Yep - and they honestly can't hit worth a lick. Averaging 3 runs per game against KC and DET during this stretch, going against perhaps some of the worst pitching staffs in the AL, isn't encouraging.

NYY, Tampa, LAA, HOU, TOR, and CHW are all light years better than theTwins as things stand today. It's not really even close.

For sure. Hitting just hasn’t been there all year. And we expect the pitching to continue what it’s been doing? Yeah, no

Well, not CWS. Twins swept the white sox, and they're one of the worst offenses in the AL. I want to say only the Tigers and A's are worse in runs/game?

They've been struggling for sure, but IMO they have too much talent to hover around .500 for much longer.

I think there are more people on this thread than there are at the game. Yikes.

If you lived in town would you be there? I think the people on this thread probably (mostly) all live elsewhere ... or are commenting from their work computers, as I am

You can't honestly that the white sox are "light years" ahead of the Twins "as things stand today." That's why no power rankings have the White Sox higher than the Twins. They're 5.5 games back. That's a lot.

I don't think the white sox end up going .500 this year either. But they need Lynn back and the offense needs to get going quick. Grandal is too good to be as bad as he's been.

And it was a good day to have had a long Zoom seminar, I might add...

Agreed. We're definitely not as good as our record, but we are finding ways to win games somehow. We might even do it again today. A lot of lucky breaks our way so far. Things have a way of evening out and I'd expect us to slowly fall back towards .500. No one is tearing the cover off the ball and the pitching can't possibly continue the way it has. I do think we've got the makings of a solid team, but we're not in the same category as NY, Hou, TB, LA, Tor etc. I also think the White Sox will eventually catch and pass us.
