Game Thread: Detroit Tigers vs. Minnesota Twins, 5/24, 6:40pm CST

Let's face it:

No matter how much anyone hopes otherwise, Ryan Jeffers will never be more than a .211 hitting catcher who might hit 9-10 HRs per year - and that's working as the primary backstop.

He's serviceable but I think it's safe to start eyeing other prospects in the organization.

The Twins are so slow on the bases (other than Buxton, and who needs Lewis, I guess). You have to be able to tag and score there. Plus, a more clever slide would have maybe snuck in.... can't lead with the arm closest to the catcher.

So, when Correa gets a hit, he turns around and points to the dugout … I like it, but what is that? Is it today’s version of ‘smell ‘em’?

He's yelling obscenities at all the teammates that are both worse at baseball and paid less than him.

St Louis?

After review, it’s the Kettle river that divides Duluth and Superior, it flows into the St Croix river that goes south to make the border between Wisconsin and Minnesota until it flows into the Mississippi at Prescott, Wi.

Superior, Wi is east (southeast really) of Duluth (right hand side of the map).

yeah it’s a really big stretch and a bad geography pun

im sorry
