Just do it! Contact stringer bell today! :) Go Twins! (If I didn't call your name today, I'll get you in tomorrow ... until all dates have been spoken for.)

It is like they took a bunch of the Brady Bunch extras from the high school scenes, gave them valium and they are wondering why they cannot be at an Osmond's concert instead.  Then at around 2 minutes there are strange puppet people that look like they escaped from HR Puffinstuf or Chuck E Cheese.

From what I understand, the whole world was like this, for the entire decade of the 1970s.

If someone were hypothetically to show up and 12:10 for tomorrow's game, could they watch the last half of tonights game as well with one ticjet? Or would they have to purchase a ticket for both?

I would imagine they'd let you in with a ticket for tomorrow's game, but that should be announced at some point if it hasn't already.

Well..I’ll still be watching both games, but watching 6 innings of (probably) uninteresting and boring baseball doesn’t sound that fun. Hopefully the twins can produce a comeback, but I assume they’ll just throw some long men like Cano and Stashsk and try to save the real arms for game 2. Gotta win one tomorrow. Cannnot get swept, even by a team as good as the Astros.

I don’t want to apologize for the Twins effort in 1 1/3 games, but Houston is pretty healthy and at the top of their game other than slugging. The Twins are playing them at the wrong time and it certainly is the wrong time to have control problems.

It’s nice to see the Twins young players hold their own against Oakland, but they need their best players against Houston, the way they are playing right now.

If they can’t resume tonight, the game will be suspended and resumed from the same point on a future date. The old “5 innings” rule is no more. No clean slate for the Twins, unfortunately!

From a March 2022 report: ”the 2020-21 suspended game rule has been made a permanent part of the CBA between MLB and the MLB Players Association.”

If this is the case, then there’s even less reason to keep playing when it’s obvious Chris Archer cannot grip the ball and is spiking every fourth pitch into the dirt. What a load of crap.

Maybe they were hoping to get 5 innings in? Assuming the score held up to that point, then the game would have been final rather than suspended, and we wouldn't need to play the remaining innings.

This is the only thing that makes even remote sense to me.

Will Cano be required to pitch to 3 batters since he was officially announced?

This won't happen for the Twins, but what if Archer was send down or placed on IL overnight? We'd have another pitcher for today and potentially could use more than 26 players in the game. (As discussed earlier in the thread, this would be more of a problem if the game were continued in, say, August, when rosters might be quite different. Does anyone know how that would work?
