I am generally pro trying to push your starters through at least 5, but I really don't get it tonight. Ryan had shown that he didn't have command, had threw a ton of pitches each inning, and was going to be going through a good lineup a 3rd time. A 2 run lead was already going to be pretty tough to beat, but now you're looking at a 4 or 5 run deficit and your bullpen is still going to have to get 15 outs like they would've if you just pulled him when it was 2-0.

According to Justin, Kirillof just made the greatest non Out throw from the outfield.  K made a good play.  Could have have played it better and possibly got the out.  Give him a couple of years of experience and he might have been successful.

I actually think that play was poor. The throw was fine, but he should've been able to get under that ball and the runner wouldn't have even attempted to tag.

It's one thing to lose, it's another thing to lose to a bunch of low-lifes like the Astros.

It is not losing to the Astros, it is already 6 walks vs the Astros.

You're entitled to your opinion.  I'm saying for a young player to play that correctly in all aspects isn't that easy for them.

Yeah he didn't play that very well at all. Too slow getting there, too long getting rid of the ball.

I thought he did what he could. Alex Kirilloff is not Buxton or even Nick Gordon. He couldn't get to the ball in good throwing position and being left handed made it that much more difficult.

This game is giving every appearance of one of those sixty games a team is going to lose.

You wanna use semantics to win a discussion.  Go ahead, it's all yours.

Has zip to do with semantics, the fact is the Twins are walking them often, but what ever floats your boat.
