VIDEO: May 13, 1985: Met Stadium, Ron Davis both get demolished

Recommended Posts

With the vacant Met Stadium now demolished, plans for new development on the Bloomington site are discussed on WCCO.

Meanwhile, in New York, an 8-0 Twins lead over the Yankees is reduced to 2 runs in the 6th, thanks to a 3-run home run by former Twin Butch Wynegar against Mike Smithson. The Twins hold the lead into the bottom of the night, but Ron Davis puts two Yankees aboard with walks before surrendering a two-out, 3-run walk-off homer to Don Mattingly.

Watch that day's full newscast here.
