101 Pitches... That'll probably be it. It's too bad cuz he only went Seven innings.

 

Now he won't get credit next year when someone posts in 2014 that he only threw OVER 7 innings once or whatever the number is in 2013.

I had to go work for 75 minutes or so and am glad to see that the Twins are winning and that the thread is filled with joy. Now I am going to drive home with a very positive attitude and hopefully catch the 9th inning.

They started playing "when the levee breaks" before switching pitchers. Went to commercial, came back, the song was still playing. Is that normal? If not, it should be. At least for Plouffe.

 

When the Levee Breaks is over 7 minutes long. It can fill a pitching change... And a Mike Hargrove at bat.

BTW, I like the pinch hitting move by Gardy. Let the new guy go to sleep with a 1-3 debut. .333, that's Hall of Fame stuff, right kid? Good game.

And giving Hicks a very low pressure AB. Hope to see many more low pressure ABs in the 9 hole for Hicks.

With the exception of that play in left in the 7th. Still, he can go to bed happy and be satisfied with the debut.

I just figured out the proper use for my favorite avatar. Victory celebration!

 

She indeed makes great icing on the cake. She was also pretty effective in making me feel less bad when the Twins were playing the Mets.
