Oddly enough, for all the gnashing of teeth last week, we are half a game out of first place and one game out of the wild card race,  Long season.  Looking forward to watching it.

It was only two games, but 7 and 8, vs 5 and 10 is huge. We’ve seen this team end it’s season in April before (many times in my lifetime).

im excited too, I am still worried about the starting pitchers running out of gas in August, but the hitters should come back to life (getting a glimpse of that yesterday helped my optimism in that regard)

I said in a different thread, where we were on the 24th would be a indicator of how the Twins will do.

I stand by that, that at worst, the Twins will be no more than 2 games under .500 at the seasons end.

If the Twins can bring in a Left Fielder that can field and hit better than current ones, things will get better sooner rather than later.

I'd hope we can win 3 of 5 games against Det & TB and finish out the month with a + record. I don't remember us doing that once in '21.
