Hicks nowhere in the top 20?

I know he's off to a terrible start here, but I still have him #5 on my list:

1)Buxton

2)Sano

Coming into the year I had Sano then Buxton. Well, gosh darnit, I've drank the kool aid! Buxton carries more risk, but boy if he hits his ceiling it's going to be amazing.

3)Meyer

4)Arica

I have Meyer ahead of Arcia because I think he has a chance to be a legit ace. To me, Arcia's upside is pre knee injury Kubel, which is still pretty good, but if both reach their ceiling, I'll take the ace over Kubel.

5)Hicks

6)Gibson

Boy, tough MLB debut for Hicks, but I still think he has the tools to be a good player at a premium position. I'm not giving up on him. Gibson should be a quality #2 as soon as this year.

7)Rosario

8)Berrios

I'm tempted to move both these guys ahead of Gibson. If Rosario can stick at 2B, he could be a top hitter at his position for years. Berrios has a chance to shoot WAY up the 'spec lists by this time next year.

9)May

10)Kepler

Hopefully May's slider can come along enough to stick in the rotation, if not he loses a bunch of value. Kepler needs to have a big year in 2013. The guy is athletic as they come, but will it translate to baseball skills? So far its been hit and miss.

11)Benson

12)Harrison

13)Bard

14)Goodrum

15)Chargois

16)Walker

17)Herrmann

18)Santana

19)Jones

20)Roberts

Honorable mentions: Polanco, Melotakis, Boyd, Tonkin, Vargas, Williams, Minier,

Those are more of an art than a science and everything is in the eye of the beholder, but I would probably put DJ Baxendale in here and pretty high. I saw him in ST ridicule the highly touted Cedar Rapids squad struck out 8 of the 9 hitters he faced and had a ground out to first. He continued the domination in the FSL getting this line in his single game there this season: 5.1 IP 2H 0R 1BB 8K . His stuff was totally filthy in the Spring. If he keeps it up (and builds endurance) I see him in New Britain mid season and in the Cities as early as September of 2014. I am really high on the guy right now and I would place him above May, below Meyer and not sure about where re: Gibson (who is getting a tad old btw) and Berrios.

The other player who would make my top 20 list is Vargas. He has the most power in the organization and if he turns the corner with the breaking stuff he will be scary.

Benson would not be there. He deserves to be there as much as Angel Morales at this point ;)

Sano has the most power in the entire minors...

Benson is 2 seasons removed from hitting 28 HR's and OPSing almost .900 in AA. I don't see why he doesn't deserve to be on this list?

Baxendale is pretty old for his level.
