The Minnesota Twins have an access issue thanks to Bally Sports North. Once again, BSN is only available on one streaming service, the overpriced DirecTV Stream. If you live outside the market you can get all the games on MLB.tv, but you're blacked out if you live in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa or parts of Western Wisconsin. How to watch the Twins in 2022? There are not as many options as I'd like. Limiting access to the broadcasts is bad for baseball.

I've been listening to the broadcasts on radio.  The broadcasts are awesome.  Provus and Gladden do a great job.  It does give me relief from listening to the obnoxious Dick Bremer on tv.  However, I am very upset that for the past several months we have had no access to watch the games on TV.  Of course this includes all the local sports that BSN carries.  Hello out there does anyone care?

I recently stopped my DirectTV service because of its excessive cost. Bally Sports is proving to be worse than Fox Sports, which is saying something. It seems that the only concern of MLB and the Twins is immediate revenue and not building or sustaining a fan base. Even at Target Field, it seems that a third of the attendees are constantly on their phones while paying only occasional attention to the game. Oh, for the good old days at the Met when fans actually paid attention to the game and 50 games a season were on free TV. And as good as Corey Provos is, he is no Herb Carneal or Ray Scott.
