So, all of our trees are falling down from the ice around here. How's everyone else's day going?

Gawd I could use a Twins win tonight.

It's 75 degrees and sunny here today, but I want the win as much as you do.

you can pretty much cut and paste that post and use it every day can't you.

In this case, one might want to question the integrity and power of his pathos...

If it keeps on raining the levee's gonna break.

AccuWeather's hourly forecast has another hour or so of "light rain", then very low precip probabilities after that. I think they get this game in.

The weather in Los Angeles is usually pretty nice, but at least I refrained from mentioning the secretaries who like to sun themselves on the lawn behind my office.

I may live in paradise but I bleed blue just like you do when the Twins lose.

lol... In consideration of the price you pay for real estate in Beverly Hills.

Every structure should come with secretaries sunning themselves.

Next time go ahead and mention those - I could stand to hear a little more:p

Who would have guessed that 8 games into the season, Escobar and Florimon would have the highest batting averages on the team?

I'm sure somebody somewhere down in their preseasons picks.

If you put an infinite number of monkeys in front of an infinite number of typewriters for an infinite amount of time, all pecking away randomly, they'll eventually produce the works of Shakespeare.

No slide there Willy? Pretty confident are we?

Didn't see the play, but I think with his past back problems, his game has to be to minimize risk of injury. It's most evident in his defense, but he's also tied with Morneau for least-likely to get sent by the third-base coach and not solely on the basis of speed, and he probably gets a pass on any baserunning decisions he chooses to make.

They already produced the Internal Revenue Code.

Bert keeps acting like this is do or die for Hendriks. There do seem to be fans frustrated with Hendriks, too, and he's obviously been pretty bad up in the bigs. But, why do people give him a shorter leash than Dozier, for example? I mean both players have comparable time in the big leagues and neither have looked good. The difference is, Hendriks has already pitched well in AAA and is younger.
