Nice debut by Meyer. 5 IP, 8 Ks, 1 ER, 1BB

Arcia and Colebello still knocking it around. So are Rosario and Sano.

Tyler Duffey 6 innings of No-No.

Buxton is smacking the cover off the ball.

Damn, nice outing by Meyer.

And LOL at Arcia's stat line. Is he OPSing at 2.000 after today's game? Gotta be close.

Both Arcia and Cola are Backyard Baseball ridiculous right now. After his 4 for 4 day, Cola is only batting .600.

Wonder when Meyer gets the promotion to Roc? Maybe right when Gibson gets the promotion to the Twins?

Sano, Arcia, Rosario & Buxton are on FIRE. I know it's only 4 games into the season, but Rosario s the slacker in the group and he's hitting .389. Wow! Buxton is over .500, way over at .583.

If they continue just doing terrific it Will be interesting to see how quickly the twins move them up and how they go about clearing space in AA & AAA for them.

Mauer wastes no time in putting Josue Montanez into a no-hit game in the 8th inning.

First week of baseball in the minors. Pretty sure they are on orders to keep them on a strict pitch count. Meyersie was pulled after 75 pitches, so I'm betting he didn't even hit 90.

Duffey threw 76 pitches in his perfect 7 innings of work.
people like to immediately talk about promotions after a hint of dominance but there will need to be some space made on the kernels roster as berrios, bard and mata come out of est and duffey would seem to be on a shortlist after tonight.

I wasn't questioning pulling Duffey, that was the prudent move to be sure.

Throwing Montanez in there from right off the plane from Ft Myers was what I found "interesting", and as it turned out, made for a crazy debut inning for him (3 walks and a WP run scored).

The first few weeks of baseball always has some interesting sample size stats. I doubt the Twins will do much of anything to any of these guys for at least two months. I seem to remember Sano getting off to a hot start last season and then hitting a very very very long dry spell.
