Poll: Who do you risk leaving unprotected in Rule 5?

The deadline for protecting minor leaguers from the Rule 5 draft is coming up fast (Friday November 19).

Here are 5 of the "intriguing" names from Seth's fantastic 21 Twins Names to Know for the 2021 Rule 5 Draft.

If you have to leave one of these guys unprotected, who do you pick?

Off this list, I'd go Schulfer AND Gore. I think the coin flips are Palacios (who could have a baddoo-like breakout at the MLB level or hit .163) and vallimont (who will definitely hunt up Ks but also might be Charlie Sheen at the start of Major League). Enlow seems the most worthy of protecting to me.

I'd leave Schulfer, Gore and Vallimont off the 40 man for sure. Enlow, I'd probably protect. Palacios would depend on what the Twins' strategy this offseason is looking like.

If they've decided they don't have a shot at competing within their strategy, I'd absolutely protect Palacios because I'd be planning to give him an extended look at starting shortstop. If he's exposed, he will be selected.

Hmm... seems I should have flipped it, and instead asked which one from this group would you protect.

In any case, should be interesting to see who they add (and who they drop) tomorrow.
