Jack Morris Apologizes After Using Asian Accent During Shohei Ohtani's At Bat, Suspended By Bally Sports Network

Jack Morris has drawn sharp criticism after delivering comments in an Asian accent. 

The Tigers broadcaster later apologized in the ninth inning of the game saying that he did not "intend for any offensive thing" and offered an apology to the Asian community.

That was definitely not an apology.

Both of the corporate statements used the plural (comments/remarks). Was there another, besides the pidgin he used when Ohtani was batting?

Jennifer Frey was her name, and if anyone is interested there is a well written article about that incident, her career as a woman in sportswriting, and her tragic life that if you have the time is an engaging read.

I'm shocked that Jack Morris, an avowed jerk (I'd use another word), said something like this and didn't think it was all that bad.  What a tool.
