An old favorite for sure, this is where people can post about the Twins, Sports or Life in general after having a few beers, ideally at the very least this brings rongardenhire or fatbeer out of the wood work.

 

I'm sure the normal forum rules still apply so keep it somewhat clean.

I don't get drunk anymore. Tipsy, maybe, but not drunk. I know, for a female, I'm no fun. But there are plenty of times I wish I were drunk ... like when reading a baseball thread of complete inanity.

funny story from earlier though. so every once in awhile i like to play some music while i and a lady friend get intimate. i actually have several playlist for that purpose, all of them carefuly crafted to set the mood. nothing to intense though. one of my housemates recently messed with the ipod and threw in some Tupac and LL Cool J for good measure. so yeah when "mama said knock you out" came on earlier, i couldnt stop laughing and eventually quit the entire ordeal, too damn funny man. but yeah thats my story folks

 

also i think mauer bats second is a good idea

Dave I just wanna say I love your avatar. There are few things more american than some good ole CCR. What are some of your favorite jams? For me, Born on the Bayou and Green River are at the top, among others. Proud mary and ramble tamble are also just phenomenal.

 

I just wanna say ive been reflecting on joe mauer's career recently. I will feel absolutely awful if we cant get the guy deeper than the first round of the playoffs. I'm about to write him a letter of encouragement, letting him know we are all behind him. The guy is so damn athletic. It's not every day your gatorade player of the year decides to play baseball. and im so glad he did. He is a true ballplayer, acts like he's been there before. There are some other guys in the league who can be real showboats. IMO, guys like Cano or Kemp can act a little bit childish after sending one deep. Joe, he acts like a real professional, like he's been there before. That's what I appreciate most. He knows he is so good, he doesn't need to compensate for anything with gimmicks after a home run swing or RBI double. Why? Because he's joe mauer. He's been there before. This isn't new to him. What a professional. If I could emulate one man's attitude and professionalism in life, it would be his. Roll tide, and go twins
