I also agree that story was *very much* about Loki and his/her motivations. The entire Loki/Sylvie dynamic focused on that and it came to a boil in the void world when all the Lokis were in play at once. One of my favorite moments of the entire series is the bit about how "the moment any of us try to change, we end up here". All of the Lokis were a reflection of the Hiddleston Loki and looking back, I still can't believe Richard Grant was in ONE EPISODE. His portrayal of basically an older Hiddleston Loki was simply outstanding and everything about that episode looped back to Loki, his flaws, and why it's so hard for him to change.

Maybe. I'd guess they are going to keep Loki and Sylvie separated for most of, or at least the start of Season 2. Sylvie's going to need another character to bounce off of and he'd be an excellent fit for the "Wise Elder + Troubled Youngster" dynamic shows like to do.

As far as the three D+ shows go, this was my favorite, maybe because it just seemed like it knew what it wanted to do and didn't get awkwardly impacted by other projects or studio intervention. I liked WandaVision and FWS, but both had multiple episodes and scenes which felt like they were shoehorned in either because Black Widow got delayed, plot threads were just entirely dropped, or maybe they wanted to hint at a future project.

Basically all of Loki seemed to set up future projects but that was clearly its intent from the get go so it was less distracting. To me.
