Question for the faithful. Is Sean Barber really as awful as Gamecast is showing? There is simply no consistency on the edges at all. Some pitches that seem to be completely outside the box are strikes and some pitches that are completely inside the box are balls.

Ben and Meg on Effectively Wild podcast spent a good chunk of time talking about his amazing streak of play. If he keeps this up, he could produce 12 WAR as a 2 way player. Potentially better than roided up Barry Bonds, or dominant Pedro Martinez.

Truly amazing, honestly. Fun Ohtani fact right now. He’s OPSing over 1.000 against RH and LH pitching. He’s also hitting for himself in his next start at Yankee Stadium. Probably the first time since Babe Ruth did it.
