Some promotions in Twins system

Miranda and Winder to AAA, Steer and Cabbage to AA, Julien to high A. Great to see, hope they continue to play at a high level.

Great to see that news for Winder and Miranda as both have definitely earned those promotions.  Seeing Steer and Cabbage move to Wichita is also welcome news.  Looking forward to seeing CR Kernels on a planned road trip the 2nd weekend of July.

Is it too early to wonder if Winder and Miranda are being evaluated as post-trading deadline options this year? A strong AAA showing from Winder in particular might make it easier to stomach trading a Berrios.

If Winder handles a handful of starts at AAA he is getting a shot.  Not sure how the fit Miranda in this year.  I would think the way this goes is that he gets the rest of this year at AAA and maybe a month or two next year.  Now, if they somehow trade Donaldson, we will see him get a shot in about a month provided he does not stumble at AAA.  These two guys could be a huge part of the solution.  Establishing Winder and Ober this year with the big league club would be big.   Then, if we could somehow move Donaldson and get Miranda up we have a shot a rebuilding / retooling in a very short period of time.

I thought the same thing with Miranda possibly putting him in position for a Donaldson trade. I would re-sign Berrios and add Winder. The price of the two of them averaged would be a bargain as a 2 for 1.
