Good afternoon and welcome back to more Game Thread fun! Also, here's a huge shout out to all the father's out there! HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

Can the Twins make this 4 in a row? Not really sure but it's been nice to see a few wins in a row. Big Maeda is on the mound for us this afternoon. Hopefully he returns to his old self and can take us 7 innings into the ballgame before letting our bullpen into the action. The lineup looks better today as well with Buxton back in the fold.

Speaking of Father's Day, I have 3 kids, all adults now. They make their own money and only lean on "Old Dad" every now and then for a small loan...They want to take me to dinner tonight to celebrate Father's Day. Somehow I think it might be better to do a BBQ at home. I'll cook and drink some beers and they can clean everything up after dinner. If we go out I have a suspicion I'll end up buying anyway...just a small loan dad... Just kidding, they really are great kids and I have been blessed to raise them. I'm going to enjoy the day, have a few beers and watch the ball game and maybe a little of the U.S. Open before heading off to dinner with the kids. Doesn't get a whole lot better than that!

Happy Father's Day.  Some of my most heartfelt memories growing up was going to a Twins game.  My father died when I was six, so my older brother assumed the role of being my dad, friend, mentor, and sports authority.  He played hockey and baseball for De Lasalle in Minneapolis during the 60's.  

As I got older and had my own kids, my favorite hobby was working with my son in the backyard on his fielding and pitching.  God, I loved to watch him play ball.  He was pretty good, too.  Made a couple of Tucson All-Star teams.  One of his teammates in high school was J.J. Hardy.  There's nothing like seeing a son gravitate to a sport you love.

Yes, they swept the Orioles after winning the last game of a series against Cleveland.

I watch almost every game and for the last few weeks i always start out listening to Bremer and who ever is with him, But it seems like Morneau is not getting any better and Smalley i refuse to listen to, so i usually listen to the Road feed, but i like SO FAR what im hearing from Glen Perkins, Hope it continues, they need someone who is not AFRAID to criticize anything,  i really enjoy Steve Stone for the Sox, But pleez Twins no more Roy!!!!good start today, Go Twins
