Happ isn't fooling anybody, except Wes and Rocco.    This guy really is an implosion waiting to happen.

That’s hilarious.  Unfortunately, it is true.   I think this one was real bad signing.

Yaaaaaay! A tie ballgame so we can lose in extra innings!

Yes, I want extra innings today.   See if the Twins would lose again in extra innings today.  LOL!

Refsnyder was in AAA when I worked for a team....7 years ago. Can’t believe he’s doing what he is

Those private lessons from Bremer have really helped Refsnyder.

Heck of an inning for the offense... it seems the hitters are starting to wake up after an awful start to the year. That's nice, but our pitching is still among baseball's worst.

Wake me up when the Twins bats!

Looking at today's lineup, 7 of the 9 guys were acquired for their bat, and Refsnyder is the hottest bat on the team. Even Simmons, the defensive whiz, has been very professional, getting key RBI's with skilled wood work. In other words, non-stop pressure on pitchers. This twins team won't set home run records, but it's full of potent hitters, most of whom are on the upswing.

Could be a fun next 30 days, if the pitching staff can keep their combined ERA below 9.

Fun inning. I note that Sano and Kepler are now playing a little better and their improvement seems to coincide with some competition for playing time from Kirilloff and Larnach. Hmmm, Coincidence? I think not.

Perhaps it could be true for Kepler, but Sano being ice cold / flaming hot has been his calling card for a few years now. Plus he was on the bench for Tortuga before he started getting hot.

One thing I've noticed over the past several years is how Minor League baseball is nothing more than bullpen sessions for pitchers and batting practice for hitters.  I've seen way too many mistakes in running the bases, throwing to the proper base, knowing to how play a decent outfield, etc.  It tells me that the overall skills of the game are not worked on enough in the minors in preparing these guys for the majors.  I'm sure any baseball exec will blame that on the economics of baseball.  The need to rush players to the majors is done at the risk of players missing out on the basics.

Again, 100 years of baseball strategy simply ignored as sano was playing 15 feet off the line with a one run lead in the 8th inning. And of course Ramirez doubles

Those GD unwritten rules and traditions.
